Exclamation Virginia's General Assembly Opens With 34 Anti-Gun Bills

Right in the heart of the NRA's home office territory they newly elected Democratic Gov is hot after the guns. Lets hope the NRA has some clout with the members of the Legislature because we know the New Gov will sign any new anti-gun legislation.

Quote from articles: Currently, there are seven bills that we Strongly Support, including Constitutional Carry and repeal of “good and sufficient reason” for church carry.
    • There is one bill we Support – no sales tax for those purchasing gun safes up to $1,000 in value.
    • There are 34 bills we Strongly Oppose, including Red Flag law (Emergency Substantial Risk Order), One Handgun a Month, Universal Background Checks, gun and magazine bans, gun rights lost for misdemeanor convictions, preemption weakening so localities can do their own gun bans at will, punishments for person whose gun is lost or stolen and is not reported to the police quickly enough, and more.
    • There are three bills we Oppose, including bills restricting Tannerite use.
    • There are six bills we are Neutral on.

VA Republicans and NRA vow to stop Gov Northams anti-gun push.

We will see how that plays out.

VA seems to be headed down the rabbit hole. I"m afraid FL is getting closer and closer, we barely scrapped by this past election. We really do need a border wall at out Northern border.

Seems that they have already been shot down (so to speak) in committee. I hope FL can follow that example. There are several anti-gun bills in both the FL house and senate, will have to see what happens here.
I don't really expect to see much in any improvement but I hope we can at least tread water.

VA is now Dumbo territory thanks to all of the govt employees that have moved there to commute to DC. FL is headed in the same direction thanks to all the Dumbos fleeing all the high tax northern states. The Dumbos know that the fastest way to make us a socialist country is to disarm the people who can fight back. If we don't get Trump another four years, we won't recognize the country when the Dumbos get done.

Yes, we could have sent you off to guard the border if you were fluent in Spanish.
