    Not a shotgun person but...

When I saw this one I just couldn't resist! I don't know maybe because it was so unique and different or for whatever reason it convinced me that I had to own it.

It is a replica of the Winchester Model 1897 lever action 12 gauge shotgun. I know there is probably no benefit of a lever action over a pump shotgun but that's okay with me too. The gun just tripped my trigger and I had to bring it home. Capacity is 5 + 1, the gun is just a bit heavy, and you really know you shot it when you pull the trigger. Especially with slugs it recoils with authority!

    I like it, Don!

So did the Terminator in the second movie.

I think itd make a good deer gun for the swamp, too.

I definitely think Id change out that butt plate for a shotgun butt pad, to ease the rcoil just a bit.

I'll tell you who else liked this gun.... If your familiar with the movie "Monte Walsh" starring Tom Selleck the character named Shorty who was a cowboy turned bad also favored the lever action shotgun. The only difference was Shorty's lever gun was a 10 gauge!
