    Browning Hi Power

Currently this Hi Power is sitting in my safe waiting on a couple of parts. Once I have it working again there is a good chance that I'll be buying it. I've been wanting one so we'll see how it goes. It's a Mark III made in 1992 and in pretty good shape.

I have one made in Belgium in the early 70s with about 500 rounds through it. A safe queen that I wouldn't part with! Good luck with yours!

I'll most likely be buying this one, once I get it back in working order, I expect the price to be pretty good but we haven't worked that out just yet. It's got some wear so it will be a shooter and not live in the safe. But once it's working again and I finalize the sale I will be doing some additional work on it, not a lot but some.

Decent trigger job and a hammer bob, perhaps?

Actually Rick it's already got a nice crisp 4 lb trigger, except for the gritty take up, so the mag disconnect will be going. That should get rid of the grittyness and probably drop the hammer down to around 3.5 lb, so I'll see how that goes first. Not sure about the hammer, time will tell.

Thatís an incredible pull for a P35. Someone must have already been into it.

Could be, I'm getting it from my LGS's owner, he's had it quite awhile but bought it at auction so I don't know what has been done. If I do buy it and I probably will I'll probably spend some money on it at least to replace all the springs, after almost 30 years they probably need a vacation.

The owner decided not to sell it at this time, so no joy. But I'm a bit low on cash at the moment so I'm not really upset about it, I would have bought it buy my bank account would have been upset with me.

I did finish up the work on it so it's in good shape and if he does decide to sell it I get first refusal.
