Can you shoot with either hand?

How many take the time to practice off hand shooting? How many practice/experiment with shooting one handed with their non dominant hand?

About equal in skills with either hand? Or are you a one trick pony who has to shoot strong side two handed to make combat hits at nominal sd distances? If you aren't practicing your off hand and have the requisite skills with both, is it because the results aren't as stellar as with your strong hand which discourages? Or because you don't believe it's worth the time, effort and expense?

I can shoot with my weak hand......just don't hit much!!!! LOL!!!!

I have been including weak hand shooting with no sights (s/d style)for just about a year. Very slow progress....but....it points out a great fact and that is I need more practice. I find it extremely difficult to do anything at all with my left hand that requires finesse.

Shooting with the weak hand isn't pleasant for me but I know I need that ability. Its so weak compared to my right hand that the recoil send my entire left arm up quite a bit.

    but.....I'm not giving up!!!!

I shoot with the weak hand every week, but obviously shoot more rounds strong hand only, and freestyle.

I can keep most strong hand shots "zero down," same as freestyle.

I can do about that well weak hand, but it takes longer.

I use my right eye for freestyle and right hand shooting, and the left eye for left hand shooting. I also go left eye when shooting from the left side of cover if it takes a long stretch left to do so, but that isn't really necessary since the IDPA rule changes incorporating fault lines.

    Cool

A excellent reminder Brownie. We all need to practice shooting with the off hand and I am going to do so next trip to the range. Which I will do by myself so I have no witnesses to chat about my results.
