Exclamation Delay Is The Name Of The Game

Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee forced the delay of a vote on Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch on Monday. The one-week delay in sending the nomination to the full Senate comes as the partisan battle lines over his final confirmation votes begin to harden.

He is pro gun and the anti gun forces in Congress will block him all the way.

I hope they pull it off before the Easter recess. The vote should happen the first of next week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

The Dems are stupid to oppose Gorsuch and resort to the filibuster. McConnell will use the nuclear option and Gorsuch will be confirmed with at least 51 votes. I have heard that at least two Dems will vote for him. Once the filibuster is gone, the Dems will lose all bargaining power and Trump will be able to assure a conservative SCOTUS for the next 20 to 30 years. They should save their fight for the next nominee when Ginsburg is gone.

No intelligent person has EVER accused a Democrat of being anything other than a cry-baby that can't handle not getting his/her own way.
