    I'd say using the term "tactical" to describe a .22 is a bit of a stretch and a marketing tool. Nothing against the Mark IV, but tactical, no. Assassination tool, now that might work better, but for that I think I'd go with a smaller .22 than the Mark iv.

    I think this MKIV Tactical is simply a solution looking for a problem.

    $529 is a lot of money for basically a Ruger .22 pistol. A person could buy a MKIII target, install a Majestic Arms Speed Strip Kit, and have almost a hundred dollars left over for ammunition.

    I guess if Ruger MK's are a persons thing that's good. Heaven knows I have spent a LOT more money on some of my .22 pistols......
