    Ruger Mark IV so far

Sorry, no real range report as yet, not completely happy with my results yet so that will have to wait, not blaming the pistol just me getting used to it I thing. I did take the Altamont grips off and put the factory grips back and I'm doing a lot better, hopefully Altamont will come out with grip panels so I can dress it up a bit.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up if anyone else has or is thinking of a Mark IV.

I went to the range this morning and started having significant ejection issues with my new Mark IV, I maybe have 400 rounds through it at this point.

When I got home I stripped it down and am seeing what would appear to be significant wear on one side of the extractor:

Called Ruger and they are sending a replacement extractor, I'll probably keep it as a spare because I'm going to order an extractor from Tandemkross today but a spare will be nice.

Got the extractor installed over the weekend and a quick range trip today. Ran a half dozen or so brands of ammo with no issues at all so the problem seems to be resolved. Didn't do to badly but going to spend some time the next couple of weeks to see if I see some improvement, this is one of the targets from today.

Had planned on selling my Buckmark but my friend Danita has shown some interest in going to the range so I'm going to hang on to it for now at least.

I had put target grips on the Mark IV from Altamont Company but decided I didn't like them. If Altamont comes out with panel grips I'll dress it up a bit.
