- Biography:
- Served 30 years in United States Navy (1964 – 1994); obtaining the rank of E-9, Aviation Ordnanceman Chief Master (AOCM) in 1981. Earned bachelors degree (liberal arts), prior to retirement and a masters degree (management and human resources development), three years after retirement. During my service, served one tour of duty as the Armory Division Officer and one tour as a Range Master. Deployed aboard 5 aircraft carriers (one twice), one extended WestPac cruise and 15 Med cruises. Served on board the USS Kitty Hawk, CV-63 (VA-105) in the Gulf of Token, 1968 – 1969; served on board the USS America, CV-66 (Ships Company) in the Persian Gulf, Jan. 16, 1991 – Feb. 28, 1991
